This is a 'No Glass' event. We ask that everyone help out and be mindful of the impact glass can have. Glass is highly dangerous. With only a little negligence, you or somebody else could hurt themselves, and then you’re going to have a bad time. This also produces a risk of bush fires and creates a safety hazard for all little critters living in the area. Please be mindful and prepare your drinks at home inside reusable bottles and bring cans only. This request goes out to all patrons, crew and volunteers. We would like everyone to be more mindful and help prevent and issues from occurring.

Expect a high police presence on the roads to and from your trip to Origins Of Entropy, it is the Easter Long weekend after all. It is more than likely you will come across police RBT’s and RDT’s and this is in the interests of public safety.
We strongly encourage everyone to be well rested before driving and we also have a zero tolerance towards driving under the influence of any substance. Any driver found arriving to the event while intoxicated will be refused entry. Please respect the safety of yourself and others.
There will be the option at Origins Of Entropy for patrons to utilise an alcohol and drug testing service. If you believe you might be effected, please use this service to ensure that you do not drive while under the influence.

Harm reduction is a central philosophy of Origins of Entropy. We believe that everyone has the right to enjoy themselves and our event safely. To that end, we have a number of harm reduction initiatives in place.

Dancewize, Blow Me First, Security, Medics, Event operations and Campsite wardens are all working together to keep everyone safe.

But regardless of what precautions we take, it is still up to you to act responsibly and make sure you do not put yourself or others in danger. We rely on you to use good judgement and take care of yourself and others.

We all have a responsibility to keep ourselves and others safe, and it is something that we take very seriously.

We have a strict no illicit substance policy for Origins Of Entropy, furthermore, we heavily discourage alcohol abuse. If you are going to drink, drink responsibly.

As stated before, dogs and other pets are not allowed on site. We are sorry, but there are other animals
on and around the property, your furry friends could be a risk for them or be at a risk themselves. We understand and respect the owner’s request and we will turn away transgressors with no exception. Please leave your pets at home.

First Aid and a medical team is available on site at all times. But it would really be awesome if they could relax and didn’t have to work too much. Better for you and better for them.

Security is available on site, but once again, everyone will be happier festival goers if security don’t have to do anything other than hang out with everyone and enjoy the festivities.

Make use of the shared drinking water stations throughout the camping and event grounds and encourage your friends and fellow peers to do the same. Staying hydrated is essential to having a safe and enjoyable experience not just at Origins Of Entropy but in this great topsy-turvey human experience we call life.

Yep, we will have these. Not sure what sort of event we would be if we did not cater to the most basic requirements of human existence.
There will be toilet paper, disposal bins for sanitary products and general waste. Origins Of Entropy will provide clean and functional toilets but we request that you do your part by ensuring you leave the toilet clean when you are done. This will help to keep the event enjoyable for everyone.

There will be rubbish bins around the site and the dancefloor, it’s everybody’s responsibility to keep the property green and clean. Remember: “Picking up your own rubbish is not awesome, it’s just very basic common sense and everyone should be doing it without the need of any reminding. Picking up SOMEBODY’S ELSE rubbish on the other hand is awesome.”

Music is cool and probably one of the main reasons you are at Origins Of Entropy is to enjoy good music. But playing loud music in the camps can be really disturbing to your neighbours. Please be respectful and if you want to party to loud music, hit up the festival grounds.

Be respectful. Events like Origins Of Entropy and all other alternative outdoor gatherings and festivals are at a crucial crossroad and it is up to everyone to help them survive.

Origins Of Entropy will host a variety of food and beverage stalls within the Tiki Town market area. Expect a wide variety of food options that are healthy, and delicious and cater to all dietary requirements.

Ice, this simple but precious commodity plays such a crucial role over the duration of the event. Keep your snacks fresh and your beverages cold. Origins Of Entropy will sell ice so you don't have to stress about your supply melting before the weekend is over.

Lost something, then we may have found it. Check-in with the lost and found throughout the event to see if your misplaced item has been handed in.
