All Ages, Family event
Origins Of Entropy is a family event with a new addition of a dedicated kids space.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and children under the age of 13 are provided with free entry to the festivities.
Road Safety
Expect a high police presence on the roads to and from your trip to Origins Of Entropy, it is the Easter Long weekend after all. It is more than likely you will come across police RBT’s and RDT’s and this is in the interests of public safety.
We strongly encourage everyone to be well rested before driving and we also have a zero tolerance towards driving under the influence of any substance. Any driver found arriving to the event while intoxicated will be refused entry. Please respect the safety of yourself and others.
There will be the option at Origins Of Entropy for patrons to utilise an alcohol and drug testing service. If you believe you might be effected, please use this service to ensure that you do not drive while under the influence.
Alcohol and illicit substances policy
We have a strict no illicit substance policy for Origins Of Entropy, furthermore, we heavily discourage alcohol abuse. If you are going to drink, drink responsibly.
No pets
As stated before, dogs and other pets are not allowed on site. We are sorry, but there are other animals
on and around the property, your furry friends could be a risk for them or be at a risk themselves. We understand and respect the owner’s request and we will turn away transgressors with no exception. Please leave your pets at home.
First Aid
First Aid and a medical team is available on site at all times. But it would really be awesome if they could relax and didn’t have to work too much. Better for you and better for them.
Security
Security is available on site, but once again, everyone will be happier festival goers if security don’t have to do anything other than hang out with everyone and enjoy the festivities.
Glass
We aren’t saying No to glass, but we ask everyone to help out and be mindful of the impact glass can have. Glass is highly dangerous, with only a little negligence your or somebody else could hurt themselves and then you’re going to have a bad time. This also produces a risk of bush fires and also a safety hazard for all little critters that live in the area. Please be mindful and prepare your drinks at home inside reusable bottles and try and bring cans only. This request goes out to all patrons, crew and volunteers. We would like everyone to be more mindful and help prevent and issues from occurring.
Rubbish
There will be rubbish bins around the site and the dancefloor, it’s everybody’s responsibility to keep the property green and clean. Remember: “Picking up your own rubbish is not awesome, it’s just very basic common sense and everyone should be doing it without the need of any reminding. Picking up SOMEBODY’S ELSE rubbish on the other hand is awesome.”
No amplified sound systems
Music is cool and probably one of the main reasons you are at Origins Of Entropy is to enjoy good music. But playing loud music in the camps can be really disturbing to your neighbours. Please be respectful and if you want to party to loud music, hit up the festival grounds.
Respect
Be respectful. Events like Origins Of Entropy and all other alternative outdoor gatherings and festivals are at a crucial crossroad and it is up to everyone to help them survive.
